Winter Blues for Indigo Blu and with Viva Decor!

Hope you have had a great weekend and a lovely Thanksgiving to everyone home and away!

Today I want to show you a journal page - its for the Indigo Blu challenge "Winter Blues"
apart from the actual challenge itself I wanted to set myself one of only using 4 products for the main body of the work - to see where I could go creatively with those 4 products.

So I started with this:-

A stencil, Walnut paper soft, Semi gloss serviette glue, Inka Gold in Turquoise - I did the main body of the work, and then added a stamp from the Indigo Blu Grand Tour II collection along with 4 little craft candys.

I watered down a little of the Inka Gold (warm water to dissolve any gum arabic in the wax) and sprayed it on the surface, then splattered it with the Paper Soft - then created a bit of interest by dabbing it all off with a plastic bag.   Dry brushed both the products onto the surface here and there.
Used the stencil with the Paper Soft in the lightest area of the page, then using a combination of dry brushing and wet brushing established the hair face outline and the neck.

Mixed the Serviette glue with both the other products and put it through a stencil and also added it here and there for more texture.

Then fiddled about with it a bit more.....

Stamped the stamp onto a bit of acetate and attached it with tabbies and covered with candy!
